Certificate III in Basic Health Care - Course Outline
Course Code: HLT33107
Dress: Emergency medical attire and enclosed footware appropriate to the sector.
Prerequisites:
- English, reading, writing, comprehension and communication skills.
- Ability to use and analyse simple data, relation and pattern, number, measurement and shape.
- Ability to participate in small and informal groups within a virtual enterprise environment.
- You must be capable of completing the course.
- You must hold a current full or unrestricted Australian, Territory or International Driver's Licence.
- You must successfully pass a Police background check
- You must hold a current Advanced First Aid Certificate - or higher - and you must have held that certificate for at least 12 months.
- You must have basic numeracy and literacy skills
Assessment: The assessment is based on competency, which is the ability to perform specific skills, and a combination of observation, discussion, written assignments, tests, examinations and practical application projects. Students are required to attend tests and examinations as scheduled by Business Education Training Australia.

- 5 compulsory units
